It takes about an hour of use to get a feel for how the platform works.
At the moment, only the English version is available, but you can use the translation function in Google Chrome to access the Japanese version. GSC can also provide Japanese versions of PDF documents such as lesson plans.
We currently do not have a video call system. Therefore, you will need to use an external system such as Zoom or Teams. Please consult with the classroom you are collaborating with to decide which medium to use and prepare for the meeting.
Although it is not required, when teachers conduct online exchange projects, they can invite students to join the project, allowing students to interact with each other through chat and project sharing. If students register on the platform, deeper interactions can be expected.
For safety reasons, students are only allowed to interact with those designated by their teachers in online exchange projects. Students create a profile on the platform, write a self-introduction, and then use Class2Class by chatting with other students on the project, sharing project deliverables, and commenting on each other's work. Online meetings are held using separate online meeting platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet.
Parts 1 to 3 of each level can be completed offline, allowing you to progress at your own pace. Only the final part will be held online, so you will need to coordinate progress with the collaborating classroom.
